Profile

Hi, I’m Orven — a DevOps engineer who somehow skipped the “struggle phase” and landed my dream role right after graduating (still feels surreal, honestly). My journey into cloud and DevOps started during my OJT, and that’s where things just clicked. I got curious — like really curious — about how apps actually go from code to something people can use. That curiosity hasn’t stopped since. I like breaking things… but in a good way. Working with cloud VMs lets me experiment freely — if something crashes, no problem, I just spin up another one. That freedom to learn through trial and error is what keeps things exciting. At some point, it felt like I cracked the code: you can build almost anything as long as you’ve got an instance in the cloud. Want to create a Kubernetes cluster for practice? Do it on an instance. Deploy a microservices app? Same thing. Need to run stress tests? Spin one up and go. There’s really no limit — the ideas are endless. It all comes down to how far you’re willing to push it. I’m really also a fan of containers and Kubernetes — there’s just something satisfying about systems that can heal themselves and stay isolated. And Linux? That’s the fundamentals. Once you understand Linux, debugging and managing systems starts to feel a lot less scary. These days, I spend my time learning, building, and occasionally fixing things I broke on purpose in my free time. I’m always exploring cloud tech, contributing when I can, and helping make infrastructure a little less chaotic… and maybe a bit cheaper too. Still learning. Still building. Still breaking things (responsibly).

DevOps Engineering

I specialize in building and maintaining reliable, automated infrastructure that enables faster and more stable software delivery. My experience includes managing Kubernetes workloads, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD. I support development teams by maintaining configuration repositories as source-of-truth systems, troubleshooting deployment issues, and optimizing resource utilization. I also implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana to ensure system reliability and performance.
